During the summer 2016, our High school students learn about Mechanical Engineering and how to solve Statics and Dynamics problems. The students participated in multiple projects, one in particular was going outdoors to collect data during their survey measurements laboratory. The students were excited that Dr.GEM had taught them different techniques to solve engineering problems and the students were able to apply the principles that they learned in their static and dynamics courses to complete the experiment for their measurements lab. The students later prepared a lab report and presented the data they collected during our Powerpoint group presentations.
